Marine & Shipyards
Certified steel fabrications for the marine industry
CHALLENGES
Challenges in Marine & Shipyards
Aggressive corrosion in the marine environment
The marine environment is one of the most corrosive there is. High salinity, constant humidity, and seawater exposure dramatically accelerate the degradation of steel structures that lack adequate protection.
Naval classification requirements
Marine classification societies (Lloyd's, Bureau Veritas, DNV) impose extremely strict standards on materials and fabrication procedures. Compliance requires specialist expertise and complete technical documentation.
High-responsibility welds
Marine structures face complex loads — vibrations, cyclic stresses, hydrostatic pressure. Weld quality is critical to structural integrity, demanding qualified procedures and welders with marine-specific certifications.
OUR SOLUTIONS
How We Respond
Structures from certified marine-grade steel
We work exclusively with marine-grade steels (grades A, B, D, E) sourced from certified suppliers. Every material batch is accompanied by EN 10204 type 3.1 quality certificates, guaranteeing complete traceability.
Welders certified for marine work
Our team includes welders qualified to EN ISO 9606 with proven experience on marine projects. Welding procedures are qualified per EN ISO 15614 and approved by classification societies.
Procedures aligned with maritime standards
We apply quality management systems aligned with marine industry requirements. Every fabrication stage is documented, inspected and validated against the Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) agreed with the client and the classification society.
