OUR STORY
Tradition and Innovation in Steel
Atlas Metalwork was founded in 2009 in Galați, with the vision of bringing European standards to Romania's steel fabrication industry. From the beginning, the company focused on the execution of high-quality steel structures, investing in modern equipment and the professional development of its team. The early years were devoted to building a solid foundation based on precision, integrity, and respect for committed deadlines.
Over the years, Atlas Metalwork has grown steadily, expanding its production capacity and diversifying its service portfolio. We invested in CNC cutting technology, semi-automated welding lines, and non-destructive testing systems, which enabled us to take on increasingly complex projects. The international certifications obtained — EN 1090, ISO 9001, and ISO 3834 — confirmed our commitment to quality and opened the doors to Western European markets.
Today, Atlas Metalwork operates a modern 3,000+ m² production facility, with an annual capacity of over 5,000 tons and a team of over 50 dedicated specialists. We deliver steel structures for industrial halls, commercial buildings, bridges, energy structures, and special projects, both on the domestic market and across the European Union. Every project benefits from our integrated approach: from design and fabrication to delivery and on-site erection.
